Welcome!

Welcome to the Fix Meeting project wiki — an iPad application envisioned by Seth Godin that could change the way we do meetings.

Fix Meeting is set to change meetings from boring, useless Dilbert-like meetings into one that is highly intensive and results-oriented power meetings. 37signals put it best on how meetings should be like:

  • Set a 30 minute timer. When it rings, meeting's over. Period.
  • Invite as few people as possible.
  • Never have a meeting without a clear agenda.

Fix Meeting is currently targeted to be used for meetings that have between 10-30 attendees, and here are some of the planned feature set for Fix Meeting that would prove to be invaluable for mid/large meetings:

  • Tracking progress with big timer next to the agenda, telling how long the meeting lasted,
  • A fair queue for asking questions, so they just don't go to the loudest, bravest or most powerful,
  • Quickly distribute supporting images, spreadsheets and documents to all attendees' devices at any time,
  • Whiteboard feature to share instant sketches,
  • Instant feedback from attendees through the use of “GO (in depth)” and “Bored” buttons
